Test network latency between weblogic server and database server

utils.dbping is a great command line tool to test database connectivity from a weblogic server to a database.

cd $DOMAIN_HOME/bin
. setDomainEnv.sh
java utils.dbping ORACLE_THIN dbuser dbpassword dbhost:1521/dbsid

But it does not show connection latency like tnsping or ping do. Is there any command that can be used to test weblogic to database network latency?
