Quick Invoice using Spreadsheet functionality

Hello All

as per note 1347982.1 in Fusion there exists this functionality ie to be able to

* Invoice entry through ADFdi-enabled spreadsheet

* Launch Invoice Import from the workbook

Is this functionality back portable to R12.2.8? Is there similar functionality in EBS R12? Currently we prepare SQL*Loader and PL/SQL programs to upload electronic invoices into Oracle Payables through the Payables Invoice Open Interface tables. Suppliers invoices (that can come in various formats) have to go through a process in which they are configured into a specific format for loading into Oracle Payables. Looking for a simpler "out of box" Oracle solution like the "Quick Invoice using Spreadsheet functionality" available in Fusion. Any views?
