Is Antivirus exclusion required for Siebel applications/Server

Our client wants us to review the applications installed and check if an Anti virus exclusion is required for Siebel applications.

Siebel Application Server 8.2.2.14

Siebel WebServer 8.2.2.14

Siebel Gateway Server 8.2.2.14

We are reaching out to the vendors of each application to confirm the same. Can you please confirm if an Anti-Viral exclusion is required for the above application and a justification if the exclusion is required.
