Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Oracle 12.2.0.1 : Changes to Primary & Standby

Hi All,

Our production db (12.2.0.1) OPTPRD is protected by a standby db (Data Guard environment).

We have to do the following changes :

Increase sga_max_size

Increase sga_target

Increase redo log size

Add new datafile to SYSTEM tablespace

What's the best scenario to do all this in Primary and Standby ?
