Tracing a Database session to JAS

Hello,

At times I see a large database IO and I am able to get the SQL_ID of the process. Using that I am able to get the database SID and then get the JDE process and server from where this originated. If this originated from an Enterprise or batch server then its easy to trace the Process id to JDE kernel and find out who the user was.

However of late I see a large IO on a join pf F0911, F0901 and F0006. When i trace the SQL to the machine it turns out to be a JAS server/ JDBC thin client module. Now JAS server shows the process as 1234 which is meaningless. If I check the user sessions on that JAs server there are 200+ users with all sorts of applications, data browsers etc open so it like finding a needle in hay.

Howdy, Stranger!
