Open attachment from external Document management system

Hello Siebel Community,

Current version: Siebel Loyalty 22.6

I am looking for a solution for below Use case.

Use case:

Current: Attachments attached by Customer on eCommerce application comes to Siebel as attachment for SR/Activity and gets stored in FS today.

Expected: Attachments attached by Customer on eCommerce application will be copied to external Document system and Siebel system will get the reference of the attachment. When User tries to access the attachment, Siebel should fetch the attachment from the external Document system and display in the browser.

Reason for this ask:

a) consider cloud as a future approach, it could get expensive to transfer attachments from ecommerce application to Siebel.
