Database crashed after a new datafile is added to user tablespace.

Hello All,

My 12c database got crashed when I tried to add a datafile manually.

Newly added datafile# is 15. The datafile14# have gone empty and still in online state. But unable to open the database.

Please help me making database up.

Error before crash:


ORA-01242: data file suffered media failure: database in NOARCHIVELOG mode

ORA-01115: IO error reading block from file 14 (block # 1)

ORA-01110: data file 14: '<datafile_path>'

ORA-27072: File I/O error


Error while trying to open database:

ORA-01113: file 14 needs media recovery

ORA-01110: data file 14:
