Exclude Redo log file on ShareStorage

Hi, 

We have some questions about a Storage management for Oracle Extended distance (stretch) RAC cluster. 

Oracle recommends to reside all data files including undo tablespace, redo log files on shared storage. 

In order to reduce the logwriter I/O latency when we got some issues in the mirroring disks redo/undo between both sites, is it possible to exclude those items of the shared storage and relocate them locally ?


Version : Oracle Database 19c Version 19.14

OS : Red Hat Enterprise 7.9

Oracle Clusterware version : 19.0.0.0.0
