F4106 Price Selection

We have F4106 records setup by branch/item/customer. In this example we have an overlap in dates and I'm trying to understand why a certain price is getting populated over another.

Eff From Eff Thru Price

01/01/2022   06/30/2023   18.0000

01/01/2023   03/14/2023    17.1100

03/01/2023   12/31/2023    17.5000

If I enter a order with a price effective date of 3/2/23 I'm getting the middle price of $17.11. Why that versus the first or last one? I would prefer that the last one be the one to get pulled in.
