Enforce EnterpriseOne Security on JDBC Connections from BI Publisher Enterprise

Hello,

In Doc id 839333.1 (How to Enforce EnterpriseOne Security on JDBC Connections from BI Publisher Enterprise) it is mentioned that one must enable "Use proxy Authentication" as shown below. But what does it mean... in the example below does it mean that the row security associated with JDE id is enforced ? What if I want to enforce row security based on the end users roles ?
