Oracle DB Cloning Options Compared to Netapp Snapcenter

We running Oracle Enterprise DB 19c on RHEL 7 on-prem in our datacentre. Our SAN is NetApp OnTap. We use Dataguard to create standby DBs from prod then use NetApp Snapcenter to create numerous clones from this standby. The main advantage of this Netapp tech is that it creates an OnTap Flexclone of the underlying storage of the DB meaning that the clone initially is close to 0 bytes and thus is created in minutes. For example I can clone a 700 GB DB in 5 mins with most of the tim spent doing org specific prem against the DB not the actual storage clone. All write to this new DB now come out of the NetApp aggregate so we only store the deltas of each clone which is a
