Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. rebuild local indexes and gather statistics

in a big partitioned table I'm rebuilding local indexes of old partitions as this let me save around 30% of allocated space

after some rebuild I realized that statistcs has been automatically updated for rebuilded index partitions

Is that a correct behaviour ?
