Database in MOUNT state after restoring RMAN backup on a different server

Hello All

We are performing a COLD DR exercise by restoring our production database backup onto our TEST server 

The backup we used are

#1. level 0 backup - this also created sontrol file / spfile autobackup

#2. arc log backup # 1 - this also created sontrol file / spfile autobackup

#3. arc log backup # 2 - this also created sontrol file / spfile autobackup


We copied all the backup files of above 3 backups to the test server

We started up the instance using a pfile with nomount

Then we restored the control file using the control file / spfile automated backup of archive log backup # 2

We then performed a catalog of all the above backup files
