Washington Reason code for zero hours SUI wages
We run payroll in Oracle R12.2 but do our tax filings through ADP. As per the Q1 2023 tax update from ADP, there is some change for WA SUI which says that if there are SUI wages for a quarter but the hours is 0, we need to send a code in the tax file.
Do we know where this code is help in Oracle R12.2 HR/Payroll ? Is this something that will be delivered in the Q1 2023 patch?
"Washington now requires a reason code to be provided when an employee for any quarter has SUI wages with zero hours. This reason code is entered on the Reporting Information Card under Regional Tax Information for Washington. The reason selected should be end-dated for the quarter reported, as the reason may change or no longer apply to future quarters. The reason code value is passed in position 803-804 on the W record. You can run the Employee Active Balance Report with a balance group usage of State Quarter Balances to identify the employees with SUI wages and zero hours for
