Can we use the same item as assembly item as well as Component item.

Hi,

We have produced an item and the same item send for packing . We have created a bill with the parent items as eg. X and issued some packing material component and Produced the same X. but system is not allowing.

Any setup is to accept both Parent item and Component item as same to create a bills
