Can we enable the object snapshot in the Root UE for Jobs

We have a requirement to build a HCM Extract where we need to enable the 'Enable Object Snapshot' checkbox. But it is not highlighted . The root UE that we are using is "PER_EXT_SEC_JOB_UE" and the threading database item is 'Extract Job ID'.

We have observed that when we try to enable the snapshot for the Person Level/Assignment Level UEs( PER_EXT_PAY_EMPLOYEES_UE or PER_EXT_SEC_ASSIGNMENT_UE) , the checkbox is highlighted and lets us enable the object snapshot while when we use Job UE or Organization UE , we are not able to enable the checkbox for object snapshot.
