P4104 Cross Reference Inquiry

Hi,

I'm working with 9.2 and have a question regarding the functionality of P4104 cross reference.

BP constants are set to use the # symbol when inputting the cross reference vs LITM.

When entering a PO, I can input the Supplier Item using the # symbol and it cross references to our Item #.

However, when trying to search on either UITM or LITM on P4312, JDE doesn't cross reference to our Item #. I receive an invalid item # error.

Cas we not search on Item field using # and Supplier Item?
