Advanced warhousing carton recommendation

Hi Team,


I have a query on carton recommendation when we use advanced warehousing , as per oracle document it is mentioned that carton recommendation is by Volume checking - means system will compare P46011 item volume and P46091 carton volume .Is that means system only compares volume but not dimensions??

i tested a scenario where item dimensions are L- 75CM W-32 CM H- 6 CM where as carton dimensions are L -110 CM W- 110 CM H- 2CM and in move slip i can see that system suggested the carton even though height is not sufficient.

Please let me know if my analysis is not correct
