CUM Rollback P40R421 and R40R020

Hi we are using JDE 9.2.

I've read the documentation for the CUM Rollback and done some testing, and I would like clarification on the date.

When you specify a CUM Rollback Date in the P40R421, is that the date that the CUM qtys will be rolled back to? So the qtys will update to what they were on that date?

If yes, is there a way to roll back (actually reset) qtys to zero? So for example, on 1/1/24 we want all CUM qtys to be reset to 0. Is that possible using this functionality?
