How Does LCM calculate the FREIGHT based on the weight.

Example: One Shipment contains Three types of Items First One is a Part in Each(UOM) and the Second One is Consumable(Weight in a pound, Kg, Beg, can, etc UOM)and the third one is a Product Machines in Each(UOM). Now I want Freight based on Weight Does it Possible, if Yes please explain how..?
