GoldenGate migration from 12c to 19c

in GoldenGate, Streams and Distributed Database (MOSC) Question


I went thru the migration steps for GoldenGate 19c. We are planning for zero application downtime for this migration. i need clarification for following item



a. Will there be complications if the source NonStop server (DC1) site is GoldenGate version 12.3 and the target NonStop system (DC2) is on version 19.1.0.0.4? How about vice versa? We ask this as we are running dual co-production machines, where we take out each server one at a time for an upgrade.


b. if we are planning for 'HOTSWAP' when do i perform BASELIB lib merge to application process.

Do you want to HOTSWAP logger to the new ENV (Y?N)//
