Patching ODA19.10 -> 19.14 -> 19.18 NUMA and DB-HOME

Hi all,

We using ODA-8-S Bare-Metall v.19.10 appliances and plan to upgrade from 19.10->19.14->19.18.

What does /opt/oracle/dcs/bin/odacli update-dbhome --dbhomeid DB_Home_ID exactly do?

Creating new e.g. 19.14, 19.18 database home and moving all Databases from the old 19.10 home into this db-home
Or upgrading old 19.10 home to an e.g. 19.14, 19.18 db-home?

Do we have to do the following upgrade-steps in case of oda-s BM (because this ODA has only one CPU-Socket)?

SQL> alter system set "_enable_numa_support"=true scope=spfile sid='*';
[root@oda1 opt]# /opt/oracle/dcs/bin/odacli remap-cpupools
odacli modify-vm --enable-numa
