OLVM Assigned Logical Networks

Hi,

I use OLVM version 4.4.10.7, and I have one question regarding boot protocol in logical network setup.

When I go toCompute -> hosts -> one_of_my_hosts -> Network Interfaces -> Setup Host Networks -> Assigned Logical Networks -> Edit one of them -> IPV4 -> Boot Protocol -> None/DHCP/Static.

If I will use this logical interface only for Virtual Machines, what is use case for options DHCP/Static? If I choose Static and put ip address on it, kvm host gets this ip address, but I do not have any practical use for it. Is there any hidden benefit in having this ip address set?
