DB Migration

in Hyperion EPM General (MOSC) 5 comments

Hello Experts,

What would be the best way to migrate and upgrade from 2012 ms sql server and 11.1.2.4 HFM to 2019 ms sql server and 11.2.9 HFM.

Will it be, first make 11.2.8 up and running then migrate the db. Once db is migrated reconfig database using reuse existing tables and then upgrade to 11.2.9

Or

First make 11.2.9 up and running and then migrate the db.

Let me know your opinion.
