DB instance / Service missing in SCAN Listner

Dear all,

We recently needed to stop and start 1 database on our RAC cluster. (2 nodes)

Running Oracle RAC 12 / grid 12

We have ~20 databases running OK, and all visible on the SCAN Listners.

However the database re strarted no longer is registering to the SCAN Listener.

The Database is however up and available from either node with a direct connection set on either node.

We have also tried to manually register the database / instance with no luck

We do not recall any setup of configuration changes since the last restart of the RAC / Grid infrastructure.

Does anyone have a guide as to how to diagnose / trace the registering of the Database / instance to the SCAN Listener?
