Sales order lines- no Back scheduling based on requested date and (preparation days + delivery days)

I'm facing a strange behavior on back scheduling on JDE 9.2 version

as a base setup, my client has setup Delivery days and Preparation days as advanced preferences.

According to E1: 49: Promised Shipment and Delivery Date Calculation (Doc ID 625513.1)

The system will back schedule 'schedule pick date' and 'schedule ship date' based on the prep and del days preferences values.

As an example; if today is the 1-jan-2023

If I place an order line w requested date = 14-jan-2023

The system will calculate schedule pick = 10-jan-2023 and scheduled ship = 12-jan 2023 if both prep days and del date = 2 days each

However, after different testing scenarii, it looks like the back scheduling only works within the branch specific commitment days.
