How to migrate from EMC powerpath udev rules to ASMLib on RAC19c.

Hi dear all.

We are thinking about change the ASM architecture from using EMC powerpath udev rules to ASMLib in our environment (RHEL7 Two nodes RAC/ASM 19c).

Is there any guide or documentation to support this task?

Should we create new asmlib disks to migrate the data from old udev disks co-existing all these types of disks or just replace all udev path disks direct to asmlib following steps bellow:

• Install asmlib on both nodes (oracleasmlib and oracleasm-support);
• Stop the entire environment on both nodes (database, cluster, and ASM );
• Stop and unset the udev rules on both nodes;
• Create asmlib disks pointed to the same path used by the udev rules on node one only;
