Q - re:EBS r12.1: Patch 35022567:R12.PER. 2022 California Pay Data patch
- In reading the document for calculation of the 'mean' rate - it states; Mean - Hourly Rate => This is calculated by adding the individual hourly rates for each payroll employee in the group, then dividing that sum by the number of employees in the group.
My question is - can someone tell me where the hourly rates are being pulled from?
In validating the data, the salaried employees by establishment, job category, race/ethnicity, and sex tie out. However, when I look at an hourly group - I have an $8.85 discrepancy.
Of note: this company's payroll is outsourced so there are no run results to validate against.
