Can I configure different permissions for the same user in P6 Desktop Client and P6 Team Member?

A business line I support is concerned about our upcoming Primavera upgrade which includes changing from native login to Single Sign-On (SSO) using LDAP.

Using the existing native login, the business line admins manage user permissions by creating multiple user accounts for the same user. For the P6 Team Member account, they append the username with -t. The permissions assigned to this account are Read/Write. The user has another account for P6 Professional (desktop client), which is usually just their standard employee ID with nothing appended. This account is given Read Only permissions.

The users want to know if there will be a way to maintain this division of permissions somehow after we upgrade Primavera to use the LDAP sign-on method.
