Oracle Linux Automation Manager 2.0 Jobs Fail to run

edited Apr 25, 2023 11:08PM in Linux Operating System (MOSC) 17 commentsAnswered

I recently installed Automation manager 2.0 on an Oracle Linux 8 system.

I am noticing the following issues:

  1. I have provided 4 VCPU's which is double the recommendation, yet the server is load is always at 4.5 with CPU Idle 0%.
  2. After creating a project to pull playbooks from our BitBucket the job just remains in a Pending state and does not seem to do anything. Even creating a local are to pull playbooks from the job does nothing.

Below are some services I notice issues with as well. The receptor service never starts, and the remaining services go from running to starting randomly.

awx-config-watcher RUNNING pid 298058, uptime 5:57:35
awx-receptor FATAL Exited too quickly (process log may have details) --> Never starts
tower-processes:awx-callback-receiver RUNNING pid 495433, uptime 0:00:02
tower-processes:awx-daphne STARTING
tower-processes:awx-dispatcher RUNNING pid 495445, uptime 0:00:01
tower-processes:awx-rsyslogd RUNNING pid 298062, uptime 5:57:35
tower-processes:awx-uwsgi RUNNING pid 298059, uptime 5:57:35
tower-processes:awx-wsbroadcast RUNNING pid 298061, uptime 5:57:35

Howdy, Stranger!
