CIP to a building

in Fixed Assets - EBS (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

We enter a cip (which is not depreciable) and then have been disposing of all the CIPs and creating a building.

What is the best practice? My group is asking to just recategorize from CIP to building but I don't see any way to do that since it's not depreciable and the depreciation of the building (which has all the smaller components from cip rolled together) would not have the same date. is there an easy or better way to do this?
