Restoring RMAN backup onto new host - 19c

Hello

We are working on a cold DR restore scenario where we are required to take a network based backup of our 19c production RAC database and restore / recover the DB onto a different server (single node)

The assumption is that the source / production database will be inaccessible and all we would have is the RMAN backups and the backup log to work with and to determine the restore / recovery process

The goal / objective of this exercise would be to make sure that we are able to recover the database upto the last committed transaction and how to make sure that that committed transaction is captured in the last archive log that is part of the back up
