Upcoming EPM System Release 11.2.14 - should we skip 11.2.13?

Last week, an Oracle Doc was published pertaining to the upcoming EPM System release 11.2.14.

Reference: Important Upgrade Information for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) System Release 11.2.14 (Doc ID 2941419.1)

It states that "In order to deliver and deploy platform updates for the EPM System, a full installation will be required for release 11.2.14, after which quarterly releases will again be primarily applied via OPatch. Please be advised that:

  • The following platform updates are planned for release 11.2.14:
    • Linux 8 certification
    • Embedded Essbase 21c

"Hyperion release 11.2.x customers should plan for a full product installation with release 11.2.14. Oracle recommends that customers leverage this opportunity to update the operating systems to Linux release 8 and Windows Server 2022. Customers that plan to upgrade their operating system, and customers that are currently deployed with Essbase 11.1.2.4 should additionally plan for application migration."
