Approved Requisitions not appearing in Award Status Inquiry

Hi All,

We are facing a unique issue in Grants and projects. We are getting frequent cases where a Requisition is approved successfully, but it is not appearing under Requisition Encumbrances under the Award Status Inquiry for the given Award and project combination. It means the requisition did not block any funds technically. When we find those cases we are following below work around steps

1. Return the Requisition
2. Baseline the Award Project Budget
3. Re Submit the Same requisition without any changes
4. The Requisition is getting approved and appearing under Req Encumbrances under Award status inquiry.

Any inputs on how to resolve the issue are highly appreciated.
