Can we start the Manage Hire process over to correct date that is incorrect now on application?

We had an applicant respond that they were NOT a former employee when applying for an open position. This applicant was later hired.

When the Talent specialist processed them thru the manage hire bucket, they got the warning message for duplicate SSN, and instead of investigating the error and correcting the cause of the error, they chose to move forward with the applicant as a new hire. The applicant was hired into PS and issued a new EE ID.

After this error was discovered, the new EE ID was removed from PS, using the ID Delete process, and a new Hire/Rehire row was manually created on the Job Data record for the original Employee ID from when they were originally hired.
