intermittent Attempt PAM authentication for emagent service...PAM failed with error: Authentication

I found a solution for a problem that occurs in all instances on the instance. I am having the same problem but it is intermittent. The backup jobs work 99% of the time then fail with the above PAM error. Does anyone have a solution for the intermittent problem.
