Unable to Load Module "oracleasm" in Oracle Linux 8.7

I'm starting to configure a new oracle machine on Oracle linux 8.7 and after install oracle asm, I always get the message "Unable to Load Module oracleasm" after a oracleasm init.

I installed:

  • oracleasmlib-2.0.17-1.el8.x86_64.rpm
  • oracleasm-support-2.1.12-1.el8.x86_64.rpm
  • kmod-redhat-oracleasm-8:2.0.8-15.1.0.2.el8_7.x86_64 (This one was installed using yum install kmod-oracleasm)

I already uninstalled and installed many times in different orders thinking that it could change something but I'm still unable to make it work.

Is there any incompability with the version 8.7? I had an older server with version 8.4 that worked fine with oracleasm.
