DataGuard and In-Memory use on Standby?

19.19 on Linux

Does a mounted-only standby database need memory allocated to it if in-memory is enabled on the primary? We want to try the base-level option on a couple of databases.

Since it is only mounted, I would think it would not need this memory to be available, since it cannot be used. But I wanted to make sure as the standby VMs normally run with less memory than the primary.
