how to move E-Business Application from Linux 6 to Linux 8

Linux version="6.10"

We are running a non-cloud, non-RAC, standalone/on-premise server.

I inherited a linux 6 server with EBS 12.2.4 on it. Linux 6 is EOL. I created a new Linux 8 server, but I'm unsure how to move EBS (applicaton only, not DB) over. Any suggestions? I've gone through Doc ID 1330701.1, and I was advised to use rapid clone (doc 13832621.1), however, as I'm not clear on this, how do I use rapid clone if its not installed on my target server? I understand the source part, but on the target, nothing is installed for this.

any clarification would be greatly appreciated. We plan to even rename the new TARGET machine the same we had the old source (same IP) to simplify setups
