Asset Recategorization

Hi,

The below enhancement was released as part of 9.2.41 and would like to get more information on that.

Enhancement : Enhanced asset recategorization to allow updates to the asset reporting profile at the same time you recategorize the asset.


When doing an recatrogrization, the link "Update Asset Profile" appears on the top of the screen. When clicked on this link the header displays "Reporting Profile Update" and the help description says "Changing the profile ID will not change the asset book information or category. This update will only change the profile ID on the asset table"

The questions are:

  1. As the above description this is only for reporting. If thats true will there be any change in depreciation calculation or any other
