What would be the best approach for dataguard setup in dbsystem?

is the approach below suitable?

  1. obtain downtime
  2. create backup with odacli create-backup on Prod
  3. scp backup to DR
  4. run odacli irestore-database on DR
  5. odacli configure-dataguard
