Oracle connections dying in Azure

Oracle Database Server 12.0.1

I have applications running on both desktop Azure Virture Desktop and server Azure Virtual Server that seem to randomly loose their connection to Oracle. (ORA-03113 end-of-file on communication channel)

Has any one see this before and have a solution?
