Hi everyone, i have a question.

anyone knows which is the correct partition table to use a lun exported from a storage box to use with ASM as a grid disk?

and, i have here one example, i have received a lun from a storage box who is already formatted. i want to know if i should delete all partitions and make only one with all the available sectors on it or not.

i've read this note who talks about misallignment between physical sectors and the partition table.

https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/systems-hardware-architecture/lun-alignment-163801.pdf

on this example, the next cylinder where i can make my usr partition is 66, regarding to this note i'll have misallignment and leak of performance, i want to know if this is true or not.

Howdy, Stranger!
