How to Revert Siebel Patches to previous Version

Hi,

We would like to know the scenario of how to revert the applied Siebel Patches if we would like to revert to previous version/Patch.

For example, If we apply Siebel 23.4 on top of Siebel 22.8 and if we found it is not working as expected and we found some of our functionalities are not working and we decided to revert to Siebel 22.8 again, What are the step we would like to follow.


Please share any document of steps exists for this process. While applying patch, we found it is taking backup but to our understanding it is only taking bakcup of Application external and application internal which is Apache. But not Gateway and Siebel Server. Let me know if my understanding is correct.
