Oracle Forms - Constant CPU usage when idling after 11g to 12c migration

Hi,

 

We are having trouble with CPU usage after our Oracle Forms migration from 11g to 12c. We are having a constant 8-12% CPU usage by instance of Oracle Forms, even when idling, on all our workstations.

This is troublesome because some of our users tend to run 3 of that app at the same time which means they have tend to have a 40% idle CPU usage. This drastically reduce their laptop performance for their other tasks.

We want to eliminate that idle CPU usage before we go live with our users on the 12c version.

 

We have done a set of tests to try and fix this issue:
