Is Anyone Else Using REST Calls To Manage SMC
Hi All,
One of our customers is using REST calls to configure SMC instead of using the SMC UI. In their cloud environment on the previous versions they do things dynamically adding and removing Siebel and AI servers everyday. For example during the overnight hours they scale down by removing servers and then during the day they add them back to meet capacity.
We are seeing some inconsistences such as server manager showing additional servers that SMC does not show. We have also seen other issues which make me think the REST API calls outside of using SMC UI is not being used by any other Siebel customers and might contain some bugs that only we are finding since maybe no one else is doing this type of thing.
