Manage Approvals on Manager Fluid Timesheet

When an absence request is submitted from the PUM45 Fluid Employee Timesheet while using the Absence workflow option in the TL Installation settings, the Absence leave request is displayed in the Manage Approvals grid on the Fluid Manager Timesheet. Is this section strictly for informational purposes only, or are there configuration options to enable approvals from this page as well?
