ParentTransactionLineGid is nullified for Child Transaction line

If we trying to add a new Child line to the existing GTM Transaction through integration parent_trans_line_gid is getting nullified even though we are passing the ParentTransactionLineGid is sent in the Child Transaction line payload. Child Transaction line is getting created as a new Parent GTM transaction line in 6.5.1. Any inputs?
