Microsoft GPO's that prevent Oracle Installer from completing
I understand that Oracle does not provide support for the Free XE product line, but I am hoping since the XE product installer shares components with the Paid version of software that Oracle may have seen this issue and can give guidance on what specific GPO is causing problems.
I'm looking for any known Microsoft GPO’s / Security Settings that prevents the Oracle NT Service accounts created during the Oracle install process, from having proper permissions needed to configure and start the Oracle services, thus cause the Oracle installer to fail.
We recently started to use the Oracle XE 21c database as a temporary storage solution along side one of our pieces of software that gets installed at customer accounts. In 10 to 12% of our customer installs we are seeing failures when the installer attempts to configure and then start the Oracle TNS Listener Service.
