On P1720 and P1721 application, contract order type changes from CM to PV.

I see CM on the processing options for type of document on P1720 and P1721, when I try to add new contract the contract Order type changes from CM to PV by default. SV in contract type processsing options is populating fine. NN for contracts is checked and it looks fine. Issue appears on P1720 where header is displaying first, for P1720 for PO detail contract order type CM appears. Initially the processing options has CM on it, can you please suggest the reason why it is changing to PV from CM please?
